The Depaul Theatre Union's mission is to provide theater making opportunities to all majors at Depaul University.
While we are not able to meet in person, the board has been working hard to bring you opportunities from our homes to yours!
Club Officers
President: Maddi
Maddi is in the class of 2021, originally from Rockford, IL, majoring in journalism and sports communication with a concentration in sports journalism and a minor in history. Her favorite part of theatre is directing and tech, and her favorite shows are Next to Normal, Les Mis, and Legally Blonde. A fun fact about her is that she is the only jock in DTU!🤠⚽️🏀🏈⚾️
Vice President: Cassidy
Cassidy is a member of the Class of 2022 and is a biology major from Mount Prospect, IL. She loves stage management and being apart of crew, and her favorite musical is Legally Blonde. Cassidy has been a proud member of DTU and was the stage manager for our March show, Our Town!🎭🌟
Board Member: Ally
Ally is a member of the class of 2022 majoring in political science and peace, justice, and conflict studies with a minor in history! She is originally from Aurora, IL, and she loves acting, especially in musicals! Some of her favorite shows are Once on This Island, Cabaret, and The Color Purple. A fun fact about Ally is that she can beat anyone at Harry Potter and Star Wars Trivia 😤
Board Member: Noah
Noah is a member of the class of 2022 from Huntley, IL, studying Film & TV with an editing concentration, and a minor in Theatre Studies! Noah is an actor, but is also interested in directing, and his favorite shows are Come From Away and Midsummer’s Night Dream! Noah was a cast member of Our Town in March! A fun fact about him is that he used to be a ventriloquist!!🌟👏🏻
Social Media Coordinator: Gaby
Gaby is a member of the class of 2023 from Peoria, IL, studing animation with a concentration in storyboard and character design! Gaby's home is backstage with the crew! Her favorite shows are the Pajama Game and The Man Who Came to Dinner! Her first year with DTU was the production of Our Town as Crew Head! A fun fact about her is that she loves paleontology!🦖🦕🌟

We are currently working on plans for the 2021-2022 school year! With being able to join together on campus again, we are excited to bring back the world of theater to all students at Depaul!

Our Town is a 1938 metatheatrical three-act play by American playwright Thornton Wilder which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play tells the story of the fictional American small town of Grover's Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens.
